Zen Garden Yoga is and eco-friendly studio and Eco-Chic Boutique where clients come to have a profound health and wellness experience with their bodies. Feel confident knowing that all of our regularly scheduled teachers are at least RYT-200 or higher. With 20+ classes per week, ranging from prenatal to power to YogaWall (the only Great Yoga Wall in the Upstate!) you are sure to find what you are looking for regardless of your yoga background. In addition to yoga, Zen Garden offers therapeutic massage, acupuncture, Reiki, workshops and teacher trainings to enhance your experience. At Zen Garden Yoga everybody is a yogabody.

Drop-in for a class and a kup of organic, fair trade, Keurig coffee or Numi tea before heading out for the day. Or, relax and stay a while with a massage or acupuncture treatment. Perhaps end your day with a good book from our free lending library and free Wi-fi.

Being Eco-Friendly is very important to Zen Garden Yoga. When we do well for the planet and our environment, we all benefit. So, what makes ZGY “green”?

	The awning outside and our tinted windows provide passive cooling in the summer and heat retention in the winter allowing us to limit energy consumption.
	In addition to being certified as “cradle-to-cradle,” the Shaw berber-style carpet in our boutique has jute backing and is recyclable.
	Our countertop is constructed of Teragren bamboo and the paint throught the studio is Harmony Low-VOC (volatile organic compound) from Sherwin Williams.
	The flooring in the yoga studio is made from an FSC certified hardwood and is sustainably harvested.
	We have even gone so far as to install Bio-VCT tile in the bathrooms! The Bio-VCT is more eco-concious and is adhered with non-toxic adhesive. All of the lightbulbs throughout the studio are CFL’s or LED’s to maximize energy efficiency.
	In addition to clothing made of traditional materials like cotton and modal, our “eco-chic” boutique carries clothing lines that utilize sustainable fibers like organic cotton, bamboo and hemp. These fabrics feel ahhh-mazing against the skin!
	The yoga mats we offer for use are by JADE yoga. They are made of open-cell, natural rubber (a renewable resource) and are PVC-free. Plus, as an added bonus, Jade plants a tree for every yoga mat sold, so we have helped plant more than 25 trees before we even opened our doors!
